I'm going to change my Xanga......a bit, heh, like the theme, i dunno, maybe nature this time.......?(>_<)U *sweatdrop* anywho, the past week i've been at guard camp, which has been very interesting.
the routines include us striping and hanging onto our poles!!! just kidding!
but we do hang onto our poles, and we have to do this really weird walk thingy, which i haven't been able to do because my hips don't move like that! and i end up looking funny because my hips are so stiff and refuse to budge. sara seems to have the walk down pretty well, lol. i must keep practicing! Diligence is the answer!!*raises hand in efforts to look triumphant, which doesn't really work.......* O_o
yep, another problem i have been having is try to do the parallel toss. it's not working, i went outside practically the whole day yesterday and tried to do it. i just ended up hitting my head multiple times, my right shoulder, and in the end i think i just managed to twist my wrist. *tear* i have to be able to do it by monday, but i think it's not going to happen because my wrist is still hurting from yesterday.
and to top it all off, some parts of the routine are so confusing because we are at right slam or doing a back scratch most of the time and i can't remember wat comes next.(>_<)*raises fist in frustration*
Anyways, i'm glad that band camp is starting tomorrow. i get to see some of my friends i haven't seen in a while. but only thing i'm worried about is practicing out in the heat....*grrr, cheerleaders have taken over the gym* colorguard is a sport too and has as much of a right to the gym as the cheerleaders do!!*is done ranting*
heh,
well i got to go. my mom found out that i didn't exactly finish all of my homework/summerwork and i'm screwed if i don't finish it all by today. eek!
later!
